The Guest House (B&B)

Storm Bay Guest House comprises four bedrooms, two of which are king bed rooms and one queen bed room with en-suite bathrooms and one queen bedroom with a private bathroom immediately across the hallway. The two king rooms and one queen room have private balconies with bay views. One queen room has a seating area on the deck overlooking Hardy's Hill at the back of the property, a sheltered spot to retire to in the afternoon.

There is also a guest’s lounge complete with fireplace and a large 80 square metre deck which provides breath-taking views over Storm Bay and Bruny Island to the west and Parson’s Bay and the surrounding hillsides to the north. The views from the large deck of the Guest House stretch as far as the eye can see to the Hartz Mountains and the distant south west wilderness area and are often described as the most breath-taking views in Southern Tasmania.

The large deck also provides an opportunity for you to view afternoon feeding of our friendly wallabies and other wildlife which have called Storm Bay home. Later, weather permitting, you can also experience some spectacular sunsets over Storm Bay. It is then time to relax with a glass of wine, or complimentary port in the lounge. We also stock a small selection of reasonably priced wine and beer on the premises and can arrange a cheese platter if arranged beforehand.

A sumptuous continental and hot breakfast is served with a wide range of homemade breads and jams, cereals, fresh fruit, juices, yoghurt and freshly ground coffee as well as a variety of teas.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available at all areas of the Guest House and car parking is free.

All rooms in the Guest House sleep a maximum of two people per room.

Children over 13 are welcome in the bed and breakfast using existing bedding in the rooms.

Children of all ages are welcome in Cragganmore Cottage and pets can also enjoy a holiday if prior arrangement is made and they are kept under control. We like the wildlife around our home and hope your pets do not upset them.

Storm Bay Guest House is a non-smoking facility. However, smoking is permissible in the carpark.
