We are delighted you have chosen our property for your accommodation during your stay on the Tasman Peninsula.
Sylvia and Dave are here to make your stay as enjoyable and memorable as they possibly can.
Should you need anything, want to know anything or need advice on where to go, what to see or where to eat, please feel free to ask, we are here to help.
We have included some ideas and some necessary information in this online compendium.

WiFi:
WiFi is free and unlimited throughout the property. The network you seek on your browser is Storm Bay Bed and Breakfast 5G. The password is displayed in your rooms, if you have trouble finding it, please feel free to ask the hosts.
BREAKFAST:
Breakfast is served between 7.30am and 9.00am each day. Please advise your hosts what time you would like breakfast by 8pm the evening before. Currently, with social-distancing requirements, we are limited to the number of people in the dining area at any one time so timeslots will be required to be adhered to. We ask that you be considerate of other guests waiting to have their breakfast.
Breakfast is included in your room rate. You will be asked what you desire for breakfast in the morning. Options may include- bacon, eggs (scrambled, poached or fried), tomato, mushroom, home-made bread, home-made jams, home-made yoghurt, bircher bowls, cereals, and occasionally omelettes or waffles.
If you have special dietary requirements ie gluten free, vegetarian, lactose free please let your hosts know as soon as possible so that suitable breakfast options will be available for you.
EV CHARGING STATION:
A Type 2 electric vehicle charging station is now available for guests only to use. We charge reasonable rates for recharging. Should you require to use the charger, please advise your hosts in advance so that time slots can be allocated in the event of more than one vehicle requiring recharging. If you have a vehicle that requires a different cable and have an adaptor we will also happily charge your vehicle.
OUTDOOR KITCHEN AREA FOR GUESTS:
We have a fully equipped outdoor kitchen area with BBQ, microwave, toaster oven, electric hotplates, electric wok and a range of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils for our guests to use. There is a kitchen bench with outdoor sink and cold running water, dishes will be collected by your hosts and washed in the dishwasher so please leave them in the tubs provided.
This area is outdoors and subject to winds if they are coming from the south, west or south-west directions. Please keep this in mind if you plan to use the area.
PROPERTY INFORMATION:
ROOM SERVICING:
Should you like your room to be serviced daily, please speak with your hosts to arrange a suitable time as we do not generally service rooms for stays less than 4 days.
If you require additional items, such as toilet paper, tissues, shampoo, conditioner etc, please ask your hosts as we will happily supply them.
For stays of 4 days and longer we will provide a linen change and discuss suitable times and days for servicing your room.
MAINTENANCE:
If you find anything in your room that is not operating or functioning correctly, we would greatly appreciate the notification promptly so that we can rectify the issue. We are available for non-urgent requests from 7.30am - 8pm everyday.
If it is urgent, life threatening or holiday destroying, we are always available.
RESPECT OTHER GUESTS:
We ask all our guests to respect other guests and their hosts by not having the volume on their TV above [15] after 10pm at night, closing doors softly and keeping your voices low late at night.
We promote a relaxing, calm environment to enjoy the peace and quiet and hope you will be considerate of others.
IN THE EVENT OF A FIRE:
HOUSEFIRE: Evacuate upon hearing the smoke alarms or hosts advising to evacuate- to the carpark via external access doors.
BUSHFIRE: We will be guided by authorities if there is a need to evacuate and will provide information to guests as we are advised. Please ensure your hosts have a contact phone number if you are heading out during the day so that you can be contacted if necessary.
POWER OUTAGES:
In the event of a power outage we will wait a few minutes to see if power is restored before starting the generator. If the power goes out during the sleeping hours, we will look at starting the generator first thing in the morning, please advise if there are any health issues that may require the power to be restored earlier.
Water supply is not available during a power outage, without the generator, so there is only one flush of the toilet.
Please limit the use of power during outages so that we can ensure all guests have the necessary items powered up.
IN THE EVENT OF A MEDICAL EMERGENCY:
There is an ambulance station located in Nubeena, dial "000" for emergency services and advise your location to be:

DINNER RESERVATIONS:
We are able to book ahead with restaurants and eateries in the area to ensure you get a table at the time you want.
There are lots of wonderful places to eat and enjoy the local produce of our area.

If you would like us to make a reservation for you, please let us know what day, time and place and we will arrange it, it does pay to book ahead, particularly with current social distancing restrictions, venues book out quickly.
